# Cursor Clock

> Display the time, day, date, and a second time zone right next to your cursor. Customize fonts, colors, outlines, and backgrounds.

The cursor clock keeps the current time visible wherever you're working — no glancing at the menu bar or corner of your screen. You can show as much or as little as you need: just the time, the full date and day, or even a second time zone for working across regions.

## What You Can Show

Each component is an independent toggle in **Settings → Clock**:

| Component              | Default | Example                                    |
| ---------------------- | ------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Time                   | On      | `2:45 PM`                                  |
| Seconds                | Off     | `2:45:30 PM`                               |
| Time zone abbreviation | Off     | `2:45 PM EST`                              |
| Day                    | Off     | `Mon`                                      |
| Date                   | Off     | `Mar 3, 2026`                              |
| Second time zone | Off | A second line showing time in another zone |

## Format Options

* **Day format:** Short (`Mon`), Short with dot (`Mon.`), or Full (`Monday`)
* **Date format:** Short (`3/3/26`), Medium (`Mar 3, 2026`), or Long (`March 3, 2026`)
* **Separator:** Locale default, Space, Dash, Dot, or Pipe — controls how components are joined on the same line
* **Second time zone:** Any IANA time zone (e.g., `America/Los_Angeles`, `Europe/London`)

## Appearance

Customize the clock's look in **Settings → Clock**:

* **Font family** — Any system font (defaults to your system UI font)
* **Font size** — 8 to 48 pixels
* **Text color** — Any color
* **Outline** — Off, Solid, or Glow. Configurable stroke color and width (0–5px). Useful for readability over varied backgrounds.
* **Background** — None or Pill. The pill style places a rounded rectangle behind the clock text, with a configurable color.
