What Proximate Does
Proximate turns the area by your mouse pointer into a heads-up display that follows you across your screen. You choose what appears in it:- Notifications — Choose which apps to monitor for notifications. When one is triggered, you’ll see that app’s icon appear by your mouse pointer. It will disappear by itself when you go to check on the app. You can also get notifications by your mouse pointer for command-line tools, build scripts, and AI agents with Advanced Integrations.
- Clock — A configurable clock showing time, day, date, and optionally a second time zone.
- Timers — Set countdown timers with visual styles (text, radial arc, or linear bar) and color stages that shift as time runs out.
