How to Use
- Activate the picker — Use your assigned keyboard shortcut (unbound by default) or activate it from the tray menu.
- Point and click — A magnified pixel grid appears around your cursor. Click on the color you want to sample.
Output Formats
You can enable or disable each format individually in Settings → Color Picker:- HEX (e.g.,
#3177a6) - RGB (e.g.,
rgb(49, 119, 166)) - HSL (e.g.,
hsl(204, 54%, 42%)) - HSV
- CMYK
Clipboard Behavior
Choose what gets copied when you sample a color:- A specific format — Copy just one format (e.g., HEX only).
- All enabled formats — Copy all enabled formats, one per line. This is the default.
- Off — Don’t copy anything to the clipboard.
On macOS, the Color Picker requires the Screen Recording permission. See Granting Permissions if you haven’t enabled it yet.
