The Pixel Ruler lets you measure the distance in pixels between any two points on your screen. It’s helpful for checking spacing, alignment, or element sizes in design and development work.

How to Use

  1. Activate the ruler — Use your assigned keyboard shortcut (unbound by default) or activate it from the tray menu.
  2. Click to set the starting point — Click anywhere on screen to place the anchor.
  3. Click to complete the measurement — Click a second point. A line is drawn between the two points with the pixel distance labeled.
The measured distance is automatically copied to your clipboard by default. You can disable clipboard copying in Settings → Ruler.

Appearance

  • Ruler color — Default: orange (#f97316). Configurable in Settings.
